You, the “User” agrees to the following terms and conditions listed by the site, “Discount Hippo”. You must stop using this site if you disagree with any of these terms.

General:

The Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and/or Privacy Policy may be altered by Discount Hippo at our discretion, and we are not obligated to inform Users of such changes. When changes are made to the T&Cs or Privacy Policy and the User continues to use our site, it is implied that the User agrees to the T&C and Privacy Policy as stated within the site at that time when the User uses the site.

The site may, at times and for any reasons, not be available for use. The User acknowledges and concedes that situations may occur both internal and external to Discount Hippo’s control, and access to the site may be interrupted, suspended or terminated. Discount Hippo shall have the right to alter, suspend or terminate any aspect or feature of the site.

These T&Cs, the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by Discount Hippo on the site shall constitute the entire agreement between the User and Discount Hippo. The User and Discount Hippo both agree that any cause of action towards or related to Discount Hippo must commence within one year of the date of action, otherwise such cause of action are considered void.

By using the site, you are affirming that you are legally able to accept these T&Cs: you are above 18 years old or have legal parental or guardian consent and are competent to enter into, abide by and comply with the terms, conditions, obligations, etc set forth within here.

User Conduct:

The User acknowledges and affirms that Discount Hippo may preserve and also disclose information and content if required to do so by law and/or other legal processes. This applies to Discount Hippo and it’s third party content providers.

Copyright:

All materials in this site including but not limited to images, video clips, etc are the copyrighted property of Discount Hippo and other parties that has licensed their materials to Discount Hippo. modification of use of these materials is a violation of the copyrights and is strictly prohibited.

Terms of Sale:

Discount Hippo provides customers with discounted “Deals” or products and services from local businesses. Ordering a Deal implies that you adhere to the listed terms and conditions specific to the deal and to the site’s T&Cs. The deal is not considered to be bought by you until you have been notified via email that any initial requirements have been met and the deal is “on”.

The voucher purchased can be redeemed for the goods and services listed within, from the “Merchant” or the seller of such goods and services. The Merchant - not Discount Hippo -, as the seller of said goods and services, is solely responsible for redeeming any coupon purchased by the customer.

The following rules apply to all deals (unless otherwise stated in the deal):

* GST, service charges, shipping or handling fees are not included in the purchase of the Deals unless otherwise stated.

* Non-refundable (no cash back upon redemption)

* Non-exchangeable (not allowed to exchange the voucher for another product/service or for cash)

* Vouchers can only be used once and cannot be combined with other promotions/discounts/vouchers

* Vouchers must be used before the expiry date; Voucher expires on the date written in the voucher; no refund/extension/replacement for expired voucher

* Vouchers redeemed at less than it’s face value will not be entitled to a credit, cash or coupon payment equal to the amount left over.

* Discount Hippo and the Merchant are not responsible for loss or stolen vouchers or voucher code number.

* Vouchers purchased will be sent via email which need to be printed out and presented to Merchant upon redemption.

Discount hippo is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs caused in whole or in part by the Merchant. The User agrees o defend, indemnify Discount Hippo and its affiliates against all claims and expenses.
