Our salsa lessons for kids are designed to help keep your children's interest throughout the course by using of kid-friendly terms, constant encouragement, and fun activities that would best utilize their abilities and bring out their laughter.

Our goal is to help your child develop their social skills through interaction with other kids, introduce them to the benefits of maintaining optimal levels of health and fitness, and improve their physical coordination and awareness through the enjoyable art of Salsa. 

The great thing about Salsa is that it embraces a number of other dances, which means that your child can incorporate their favorite dance steps like swing, rock, tango or hip hop into their own variation of Salsa - it's such an accepting dance that it removes the pressure of having to do it perfectly like most traditional dances, making it an ideal starting point for children!

Kid’s Hip hop: 

The most important thing to remember in caring for a child's welfare is that we have to provide a safe environment for them to learn, play, and socialize. Kids prefer to learn things through activities that are fun and engaging. This is why learning hip hop is one of the best activities they can be involved in. First, being in a group to learn Hip Hop would help them develop the social skills necessary in adult life.

Second, both their minds and bodies as they take part in specially designed exercises where they learn, memorize, and perform the dance moves.

Hip Hop is very popular among kids, in fact many of the dance moves that continue to push Hip Hop's evolution is by kids performing in grand competitions. Children dancing to Hip Hop are really a sight to behold, their confidence and passion as they dance to their favorite beat is just infectious and inspiring.

Kid’s Ballet:

There is no other dance in the world that brings out the grace and elegance of a woman like Ballet. Watching ballerinas on stage is watching poetry in motion. Their most iconic pose is immortalized in every porcelain ballerina on top of every young lady's music box or jewelry box. It's no surprise that a lot of girls dream of stepping into those pointe shoes and slipping into those elegant tutus, dancing as the lead performer in the classic, "The Swan Princess."

In ballet, children can express their feelings through wonderfully coordinated soft movements. Children introduced to ballet early in life develop a strong sense of discipline, both mentally and physically, as the rigors of this timeless art would demand nothing less than perfection and the greatest devotion to their craft. Of course, that is not to say that ballet is fun, because it is! Ballet is a great activity for any child, not only is it a fun way to engage one of the world's greatest expressions of art, it also becomes an avenue for self-expression and growth.
